Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sigourney platform and services ("Services") provided by Sigourney SaaS ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Sigourney publishes e-commerce product catalogs as Schema.org JSON-LD on public pages that AI search assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot can read, and reports how often they read them and how many shoppers they send to the merchant's store. Our Services include catalog publication, readiness checks, API access, dashboard analytics and weekly reports. AI assistants decide independently whether to show any product; we do not guarantee placement.

3. Account Registration

To use our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

During the beta (from October 27, 2026) the Services are free for accounts created on our website, within the published limits. If paid plans are introduced, we will notify you in advance and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement. Merchants who installed Sigourney from the Shopify App Store are billed through Shopify according to the plan they approved there.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may stop using the Services at any time by turning a store off or deleting it from your dashboard. For Shopify App Store subscriptions, if you cancel during a billing cycle you keep access until the end of that period; refund requests go to hello@sigourney-saas.com.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our Services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our Services or systems.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by Sigourney and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your product data but grant us a license to process it for the purpose of providing our Services.

Catalog publication. When you tick the consent box for a store, you allow us to publish that store's product titles, descriptions, images, prices and availability on public pages at sigourney-saas.com and in product feeds for AI search assistants, with links to your store. We record the time and the version of the text you agreed to. You confirm you have the rights to this content. We block model-training crawlers from these pages and never use your data to train AI models. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning the store off or deleting it; the pages then stop being served and your data is deleted within 30 days of deleting the store.

8. Data Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sigourney shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
